He is the author of numerous books on security issues and has served in a number of senior positions in the U.S government.

KHALID R. AL-RODHAN. A strategic analyst in Gulf military, economic, and energy affairs, is a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He is the coauthor of several books with Cordesman on energy security and military strategy including: The Changing Dynamics of Energy in the Middle East (Praeger, 2006): and the Global Oil Market: Risks and Uncertainties (2006).
